WAKE GAMES 2008

Rusty Malinoski of Humbolt, SK defeated Philip Soven, the defending champion, in the first stop of the King of Wake. Rusty was flawless all weekend finishing the event without a fall in any of his runs. This is a great start to the season for Rusty who hopes to add a King of Wake title to his resume.

RUSTY WINS IN WINDERMERE
APR 8th 2008
This weekend Camp Down in Windermere, Fl held host to Annual Windermere Wake Fest. Despite rainy weather, Rusty Malinoski of Humbolt, SK placed first earning himself a nice check of $3000. Coming in second was Jimmy LaRiche and rounding out the top three was Andrew Adkison. Other honorable mention goes out to Anthony Hollick of Katepwa Lake, SK who placed 6th. This is the first pro contest of the year and kicks off the 2008 season.

Hey Everyone,
This news has nothing to do with wakeboarding but I thought you'd all like to know. Mark McMorris of Regina has been killin' it this year on a snow stick, winning multiple rail and slopestyle contest all over Canada. I just found out that he landed his FIRST backside 1080. Watch out kids, he will soon be doing that on a wakeboard. Anyway, though you'd all like to know!
